Reablement essentials – Volume 1

Implementing wellness and reablement initiatives involves ‘doing with’ rather than ‘doing for’ clients. Have your clients ever resisted this approach? Have you ever been asked, ‘Why won’t you just do it for me?’

In Volume 1 of Reablement Essentials, we will introduce you to LifeCurve™ and explain why we think it can facilitate partnerships between providers and clients and change their conversations about wellness and reablement.

You may have seen references to LifeCurve™ in the 2023-24 Commonwealth Home Support Package (CHSP) Manual. At Keep Able, we share how this evidence-based tool can empower clients to reflect upon and actively participate in their healthy ageing journey.

Volume 1 is suitable for:

  • CHSP coordinators
  • Regional Assessment Service (RAS) assessors
  • Allied health professionals
  • Support workers

We also have an eLearning course available to introduce you to LifeCurve™. You can register here: Introduction to LifeCurve™. If this is your first experience with LifeCurve™, we recommend completing this short eLearning course first before returning to supplement your knowledge and practice with this downloadable resource.
