Introducing the LifeCurveTM
Welcome to this Bitesize professional development session, a part of the Stepping Back from Stepping In series.

The aim of this Bitesize session is to help participants understand and use the LifeCurveTM. The LifeCurveTM is a visual representation of how people lose their abilities for daily living as they age. This session will demonstrate that older adults can enjoy ‘more good days’ with positive lifestyle choices and timely support, core characteristics of the reablement approach. By the end of this session, participants will know how to use the LifeCurveTM to promote the benefits of reablement to their aged care teams and clients.

The LifeCurveTM

It’s recommended to distribute copies of the LifeCurveTM electronically or in hard copy to participants.

Facilitator’s Guide
The Facilitator’s Guide provides instructions on what the facilitator should say and how they should progress through the presentation.
It’s recommended to print the Facilitator’s Guide prior to delivering the presentation so that it can be used in hard copy.
